Hortifresh Uganda Shines at Macfrut 2025

Hortifresh Uganda participated in Macfrut 2025 at the Rimini Expo Centre in Italy from May 6-8. Our booth displayed samples of Uganda’s horticultural products and informational materials about our sector.
The event included an opening ceremony with remarks from Italian Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani about agricultural trade. Our team spoke with various attendees, including some potential buyers and industry representatives, about Uganda’s horticultural exports.
These interactions provided an opportunity to share information about Uganda’s produce and learn about current market trends. While no immediate deals were finalized, the participation helped maintain visibility for Uganda’s horticultural sector in international markets.
Attending Macfrut allowed us to observe developments in global horticulture and assess how Uganda’s offerings align with international market demands. Such events remain important for keeping abreast of industry standards and maintaining contacts within the sector.
